Hebu Tuyajenge – Community Led Monitoring (CLM)

The Community Led Monitoring (CLM) approach, implemented by the National Council of People Living with HIV and AIDS (NACOPHA) through the HEBU TUYAJENGE project, aims to empower people living with HIV (PLHIV) to actively engage in monitoring and improving HIV services at the community and facility levels. By collecting data and tracking service provision, CLM helps identify barriers to accessing quality care, informing NACOPHA and council health departments for targeted interventions. This client-centered and inclusive approach contributes to achieving the national and global 95-95-95 HIV targets by 2030, while complementing other NACOPHA initiatives for different priority groups. CLM strengthens advocacy efforts and enhances the access and quality of HIV response services at the community level.
