CLM Implementation – Year 4

The “CLM.pdf” document summarizes the fourth year of Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) implementation, highlighting key achievements, the methodology and coverage to date, and detailed results, showcasing the progress and impact of CLM initiatives.

Project Models

Doubling HIV service users from 6,648 to 14,781, slashing stigma, and boosting viral load suppression from 84% to 91%, this initiative also saw increased male testing and the training of religious leaders. Strengthened 65 clusters, 975 empowerment groups, and 323 HISA saving groups, along with the “Five to Five” youth model, all enhance treatment access and community support for PLHIV, driving significant progress in HIV management.

NACOPHA HISA SAVING GROUPS PERFOMANCE

HISA (Household Income and Savings Association) groups, comprising 2,765 members, repay loans at 100% and saved 1.3 billion TZS in 1.5 years, with each member averaging 614,748.2 TZS per cycle and a 149,497.1 TZS profit. Despite 95% of savings being kept at home, this performance supports NACOPHA’s future microfinance plans across 15 regions, 22 clusters, and 144 empowerment groups.
